民国二十八年贵州省造甲秀楼竹枝壹圆银币，因其背面镌刻金竹三株图案而得名。国外称BAMBOODOLLOR，国内称“贵州竹枝银币”或“甲秀楼银币”。此币乃贵州省铸造，是国民党政权在大陆铸造的后一种银币，也是流通时间短的银币（还有新疆1949年银币）。在新中国成立前已知发行的近千种银币中,“竹枝银币”是问世晚、流通时间短的，加之当初铸造量少，今已成民国银元收藏珍品之一。
In the year of the Republic of China, a silver coin of bamboo branches of Jiaxiu Building in Guizhou Province was named for its three patterns of golden bamboo carved on the back. The foreign name is BAMBOODOLLOR, and the domestic name is "Guizhou Bamboo Branch Silver coin" or "Jiaxioulou Silver coin". This coin was minted in Guizhou Province. It was the last silver coin minted by the Kuomintang regime in mainland China and also the shortest silver coin in circulation (as well as the silver coin of Xinjiang in 1949). Among the nearly 1000 kinds of silver coins known to have been issued before the founding of New China, "Bamboo Branch Silver coin" is the latest and shortest circulating time. In addition, it has been one of the treasures of the silver dollar collection of the Republic of China.
该藏品为民国二十八年贵州省造壹圆竹子币，此币正面中央为贵阳市的甲秀楼图案，外圈上边缘铸“民国二十八年”，下边缘铸“贵州省造”字样，均为楷书；左右端稍下侧分镌五瓣花图案。背面为金竹三株图案（因贵阳市在*即称“金竹府”，1942年建市时首任市长何辑五还以金竹为市徽），左右两边镌楷书“壹圆”二字。此币铸期短，铸量小，存世真品数量极少，属贵州银币大名誉品种，非常珍贵。此币设计巧妙，地方风味浓郁，有巨大的投资价值及收藏价值。藏品包浆明显，可见岁月流通痕迹，表面平整光洁，字迹清晰可见，至今仍保存完好实为不易，具有无法估量的学术与历史意义，极具收藏价值。
The collection is a round bamboo coin made in Guizhou Province in the 28 years of the Republic of China. The front center of the coin is a pattern of Jiaxiu Tower in Guiyang City. The upper edge of the outer circle is cast as "the 28 years of the Republic of China" and the lower edge is cast as "made in Guizhou Province", which are all regular scripts. The left and right sides are slightly divided into five petals. On the back are three patterns of golden bamboo (because Guiyang City is known as "Jinzhufu". He Jiwu, the first mayor of Guiyang City in 1942, also used golden bamboo as the city emblem), and the two characters of the regular script "one circle" are inscribed on the left and right sides. This coin has a short casting period, a small amount of coins, and very few authentic products. It is a famous variety of Guizhou silver coins and is very precious. This coin is ingenious in design, rich in local flavor, and has great investment value and collection value. The collection has obvious pulp, visible circulation traces of the years, smooth surface and clear handwriting. It is hard to preserve well till now. It has immeasurable academic and historical significance and great collection value.
